Tick Study Property Enrollment Form — BiodiversityWorks

A sign-up form for Martha's Vineyard property owners whose yards are regularly treated with essential oil or organic tick spray by a commercial applicator. By enrolling, property owners allow BiodiversityWorks researchers to visit before and after a scheduled treatment to collect data on both the effectiveness of the spray and its potential ecological impacts on non-target species. Monitoring visits take roughly 90 minutes to two hours and require no involvement from the property owner beyond permission to access the yard. Results are kept confidential. The study aims to provide badly needed, island-specific data on a class of tick treatments that is widely used but insufficiently studied — making it a valuable contribution to the broader effort to understand and improve tick management on Martha's Vineyard.
